Office Hours FAQ

Find answers for both founders and specialists taking part in MEET Office Hours.

What are Office Hours?

Short, focused working sessions where founders are matched with relevant U.S. market-entry specialists to tackle specific challenges. Matches are made based on founders’ top priority questions or topics.

Who are these sessions for?

Founders actively exploring or executing U.S. expansion. This is not a general networking event.

What happens during the session?

You’ll be matched with 1–2 specialists for a 1:1 or small-group discussion focused on your stated goals, challenges, or questions.

How are matches made?

Matches are based on the information you provide during registration. The more specific you are, the more relevant your session will be.

What should I prepare?

Come with a clear objective. For example:

  • Market entry strategy
  • Go-to-market approach
  • Legal, hiring, or operational questions
What if I don’t know exactly what I need?

That’s fine, but vague submissions limit how effectively we can match you. Specificity leads to better outcomes.

Is there a cost?

No. There is no cost to attend the Office Hours.

Can I choose my specialists?

No. Matches are curated to ensure relevance and balance across all participants.

What if I can’t attend after registering?

Please let us know as early as possible. Late cancellations or “no shows” impact both specialists and other founders. Be considerate and professional.

Will I get follow-up support?

You’ll be introduced to your matched specialists. Any ongoing engagement is up to you and them.

What is expected of me during Office Hours?

Provide focused, practical, and ethical guidance to founders based on your area of expertise.

How many founders will I meet?

Typically 1–2 per session to ensure quality conversations.

How are founders matched to me?

Based on your selected areas of expertise and the founder’s stated needs.

Why am I being asked to limit my categories?

Over-selecting reduces match quality. We need clear positioning to match you effectively. The categories you select should be specific to your expertise and specialty, not your firm, as we will be matching for a conversation based on this.

Do I need to prepare anything?

Review the founder’s background (if provided) and be ready to engage in a practical, problem-solving discussion.

Can I promote my services?

No. Any solicitation will disqualify you as a specialist for future events. The focus is on helping founders. Only if a founder asks for help is a capability and engagement discussion permissible. Any conversation of this nature should happen outside of the Office Hours.

What happens if I don’t accept the calendar invite?

You may not be assigned to a session. Acceptance is required to confirm availability and finalize matching.

What if I can’t attend?

Let us know as soon as possible so we can reassign your slot.

Will I receive the founder's contact details?

Yes, you’ll be introduced ahead of or during the session.

Can I participate in future sessions?

Yes. Office Hours run on a monthly basis.
